The heater is very useful if for example, you want to have the cold plunge be at 60°F when it will be below 60°F outside.

The chiller/heater can generate some condensation in humid environments so it must be placed on waterproof flooring, or just somewhere that will not be damaged by water.

Freestanding Chiller/Heater
The freestanding Chiller/Heater is connected to the tub with fully insulated inlet/outlet lines. The insulated lines provide adequate length to position your chiller behind, next to or in front of the tub. It will chill as low as 37° F and heat up to 104° F. The heater is mainly for freezing protection or keeping the tub above the outside temperature when it is colder outside than you want the cold plunge to be, as changing from fully chilled to fully hot takes several hours depending on the outside temperature.
